Alisha Dash (13 September 1993 – ) is an Indian model turned actress.[1] She works primarily in Tamil films.
Early life and career[edit]
Dash was born in Rourkela, Odisha, where she did her schooling, then and later moved to Chennai to pursue engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology. She is a software engineer. She started her modelling career early in 2013. She was also among the judges of many local pageants including IFM,[clarification needed] Miss Chennai, and Miss Utsav; she had the privilege of crowning the last. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a professor. She featured in commercials for Joyalukkas, a leading jewellery group based in Kochi. She worked as a model prior to acting. She made her debut with the Tamil film Kadhalukku Kanallai, starring opposite actor Jai Akash in the lead role, and continued in such movies as Swiss Raja.
